Let's say a patient weighs 75 kg, and the standard Benlysta dose is 10 mg/kg. You are using 400 mg vials.

  2. Exact Vials Needed: 750 mg / 400 mg/vial = 1.875 vials
  3. Rounded Up Vials: Since you can't use 0.875 of a vial, you would need 2 vials to administer the full 750 mg dose.
